Social Evenings
The Plough, Farcet Fen
We get together every third Wednesday of each Month at The Plough, Milk and Water Drove, Farcet Fen, Near Whittlesey. You're more than welcome to come and see what it's all about and you never know what you may take away with you. We're a friendly bunch (apart from the Chief Observer) so you'll be made to feel welcome!
During the months with darker evenings we invite Guest Speakers to come and tell us what they get up to. It's usually biker oriented but we do occasionally throw in a red herring just to keep everyone on their toes.

May 11th (Sunday) There will be a Martin Hopp Skills Day at RAF Wyton. There will be a Martin Hopp Skills Day. Please contact Jo for more details.
August 3rd (Sunday) A further Skills Day at RAF Cottesmore. All associates and members welcome though priority will be give to any member not yet having attended a Skills Day.
Looking back at.......
April 2008 - It was AGM time, resolutions were passed, committee members came and went. The Highlight of the evening was a talk from Fred Raynor, operations director of the New Roman Cafe development who highlighted plans and aspirations for the new 4.5 acre site.
March 2008 - Andy McManus applied his unique style to "Accident Investigation". Turns out that light bulbs, burns on seat belts and a broken finger joint are all it takes to find the truth!
February 2008 - Duncan Bishop's famous quiz night returned by popular demand and once again his Mastermind Level questions ensured a little head scratching. Well done to Jo Ann Hunter who (with her specialist knowledge of sowing machines) walked away with the prize!
January 2008 - Julie Henderson hosted a very well attended ride planning evening. 4 tables of maps ensured that everyone plotted their favourite routes for our 2008 ride schedule
December 2007 PECAM Christmas Bash. As always, it was a real hoot. Heaped plates, great company and we can't wait for next year's party.
November 2007 - IAM Examiner David Starkey delivered a well polished presentation and discussion on the criteria for passing the Advanced Test. Hints and Tips were flying!! A suitably relevant and hard-marked quiz followed. This was an excellent evening.
August 2007- Phil Stewart from Intaride Communications demonstrated their latest intra-bike and bike-to-bike comms including the latest developments in Bluetooth Technology.
August 2007 - Car Group BBQ. Rides were provided by willing members of PECAM - Wonderful write-up by Prue Lester in the November-December issue of the PECAM Observer.
June 2007 - Bike Group BBQ to celebrate our change of venue to the Plough. Great turnout!
April 2007 - Brian Wingrove educated the group about suspension systems and how to correctly adjust for each rider. Workshops followed with Brian overseeing all adjustments.
February 2007 - We joined with the Car Group to enjoy an altogether fascinating presentation from an Accident Investigation Specialist.
