How to become a better rider

Social Evenings
Every rider that joins our Group as an associate is allocated an Observer who will normally make the initial contact. A mutually convenient time and venue will be arranged to have an informal chat and answer any questions before taking a short ride followed by a debrief.
Usually, associates only need around 6 sessions with an Observer before applying for the Advanced Test which is conducted over a 90 minute period, by a Class 1 Advanced Police Motorcyclist, on a variety of roads in your local area.
Observers encourage associates to feel at ease and just ride their normal ride. With a little coaching and plenty of practise, good cornering, quality observation and overtaking become second nature.
The Group also holds Skills Days where riders of all abilities can benefit from additional free coaching. Skills include slow riding, counter steering, braking and having some great fun with cones.
