About Us
Peterborough Advanced Motorcyclists
                                                   PECAM
We are a group of motorcyclists affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists.  (IAM Group membership number 7249)  The group is also a Registered Charity  (No. 1110414)

The prime objectives of the group are to promote the improvement of riding standards and the advancement of road safety.

To that end..........

1.   We use the abbreviation PECAM when referring to our group. We meet socially at the The Plough, Farcet Fen on the third Wednesday of every Month at 7:30pm.
During darker evenings guest speakers are invited and of late we have enjoyed presentations from MAGPAS, an association of GPs, who attend live crash scenes; and from Starcom1 who manufacture bike communication systems.

2.   We ride every second and fourth Sunday of the month (weather permitting) having gathered at the Tesco Car Park, Hampton Peterborough at 09:30. Rides are usually around three to four hours long with a welcome break for refreshments roughly mid way. Come join us for a ride and see what you think.

3.   We provide free assessed rides to members of the public.
